Summary We have an exciting opportunity to recruit for a Senior Project Co-ordinator to join our team at Ashridge, to support the successful delivery of major Visitor Experience and Conservation projects on the Estate.

What it's like to work here You'll be working on a full-time basis for 24 months.

Whilst your contractuallocation will be Ashridge Estate, you will be based in the internal consultancy team in Midlands and East of England.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll be working alongside them to make this vital work come to life.

This will involve helping to coordinate the ongoing work, liaising with the Estate's Property Team and the regional Consultancy Teams for the Midlands andEast of England.

There will be opportunities to lead the delivery of small projects and to contribute to the development of the larger schemes.

With ancient trees, rolling chalk downlands and lush meadows in an area of outstanding natural beauty, Ashridge is loved by the large volume of visitors it receives each year.

What you'll be doing We are developing a series of projects at Ashridge which relateto the long-term vision for the Estate, and how we can make sure we are providing our visitors with the best possible experience alongside the delivery of our ambitious nature and heritage conservation goals.

You'll be assisting with the development of theseprojects and the complex workstreams that support them.

You'll organise and coordinate meetings and minutes, keep on top of all project activity, and research and present information, offering an efficient and effective business support service.

Working within the appropriate business/project frameworks you'll providea clear audit trail for decisions and activities undertaken within the project, regularly reporting on the progress of the project against budgets, programme of work and funding.

You'll liaise with contractors, co-ordinating the delivery of smaller works aspart of the wider project delivery and ensuring due diligence.

Supporting project communications, you'll be a key part of the relationships with stakeholders and other members of the project teams keeping everyone up to date and highlighting any risks or issues.

Who we're looking for To deliver this role successfully,you'll need:

  • Excellent knowledge of project processes and systems, including procurement, finance and reporting, gained through practical experience
  • Good people and stakeholder management skills with ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Strong experience of budgeting and can collate, maintain, analyse, and prepare data for reporting purposes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, in particular Excel
  • To be able to multitask and to successfully handle multiple priorities and deadlines
  • The ability to work well both in a team and on your own initiative
