Some of the recent audiences that we have helped organisations to gain a better understanding of include families in poverty or coping with debt, residents who have or have not taken up schemes to help contribute to net zero targets, teachers, SME employers, those in vulnerable circumstances such as homeless individuals, as well as visitors to tourist attractions, and customers of water or energy companies.

We are offering a quantitative Research Executive role within a friendly, dynamic agency environment that provides frequent new challenges and learning opportunities.

For the last 30 years, Qa has been providing bespoke insight to public, private and voluntary sectors. Our goal is to provide recommendations based on robust research, ultimately helping our clients improve lives.

From the start, you will be making a positive contribution to the work that Qa Research delivers, and the company culture as a whole.

After undertaking a rounded training programme with our highly experienced team, your day to day work will cover all stages of the research process from developing an appropriate methodology in response to a client's brief, through to survey design, analysis, report writing and presenting findings back to clients.

We are looking for someone who has an interest in quantitative research and who gets a buzz from dealing with numbers, but who can also interpret and clearly use data to draw conclusions and present back critical insights to our clients.

No two days are the same, and you'll be working on multiple projects, for different clients and topic areas.

You will mainly be involved in quantitative research projects to help deliver a diverse range of insight to clients all around the country – in the private, public and charity sector.

Some of our recent clients include the NHS, Crisis, Yorkshire Water, National Trust and the British Red Cross. However, you will also have the opportunity to be involved in qualitative research projects.

With support, you'll also be able to develop client relationships by attending meetings, getting to know the different sectors we work in and showing a genuine interest in their research needs.

There is a clear path to progression in this role, and opportunities for external training and networking.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who is interested in a career in market research. You will be curious and critical, with an eye for problem solving and analysis.

There will be opportunities to develop your own interests and specialities as you progress in your role, but we are looking for a Research Executive who has an interest in quantitative research – someone who is friendly and personable with good emotional intelligence, but also has an eye for detail and accuracy.

Much of the job requires teamwork, so you will be comfortable working as part of a team as well as some days working alone on a detailed piece of work like report writing.

Some experience or understanding of quantitative research and methodologies is ideal, but not essential. After your office-based training period, the role will involve a mix of office and homeworking.
Degree in any discipline or equivalent e.g. degree apprenticeship, NVQ Level 6 etc.
