Overview:
Duties

  • Sending receipts to all invoices generated from the team
  • Raising occasional customer credits when needed, allocating customer payments and refunds
  • Entering supplier invoices and credits, allocating supplier payments and refunds
  • Processing other bank payments and receipts
  • Bank reconciliations
  • VAT return preparation and submission (standard rate VAT, cash basis)
  • Cost of sales for bar takings
  • Cost of sales for welcome / table drinks
  • Experience of using Xero would be an advantage, but is not essential as full training would be given.

Skills:

  • Proficient in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
