Our client is a well-regarded independent estate agency with a highly successful network of offices throughout the UK and internationally.
They currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Property Manager to join the team in Battersea.
You will be managing a portfolio of approximately 130 properties, therefore, to be considered you will ideally have at least 2 years' experience within property management.
Our client is looking for an individual with a 'can do' attitude and who is willing to throw themselves into the role and take on additional tasks as and when required.
Responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with contractors, tenants and Landlords regarding repairs including major works
- Dealing with deposit returns via TDS custodial scheme
- Being the main point of contact for tenants for any issues during their tenancy
- Serving Section 21 notices where required
- Ensuring all compliance checks are up to date including, gas safety certificates, EICR, EPC etc.
- Dealing with additional HMO licenses where applicable
- Being up to date with current legislation
- Occasionally sending out Tenancy Agreements when required.
Personal specification:
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Organisational and time management skills
- IT literate
- Be selfmotivated and capable of working under your own initiative
- Be resilient and calm under pressure
- Able to manage a busy workload and prioritise
- Have a full, clean UK driving licence for property inspections.
The salary on offer will be in the region of £28,000 to £30,000 dependent on experience plus a bonus scheme.
The hours of work will Monday to Thursday 8.45am to 6pm. Friday 8.45am to 5pm.
