Senior Project Manager

We are partnering with a leading developer and provider of innovative products and services for the automotive industry.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will drive business objectives and strategies by meticulously adhering to project processes, while providing guidance and support to your team.
Senior Project Manager's Key Responsibilities:
- Manage customer and stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication on project status and requirements.
- Support program management by overseeing multiple projects.
- Align projects with strategic business objectives and establish SMART goals in collaboration with project managers.
- Mentor and coach project managers, fostering their professional development.
- Motivate project teams to achieve milestones.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including budget estimation, scoping, and scheduling.
- Coordinate internal and external resources for project delivery.
- Lead project review meetings with stakeholders at various levels.
- Assist in managing engineering change processes and support financial reporting.
- Identify and mitigate project risks in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Support the development of new project proposals.
- Manage and update the project team's SharePoint platform.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior project team members.
Senior Project Manager's Additional Responsibilities:
- Always ensure compliance with Health and Safety at work regulations.
- Carry out all tasks in a safe and controlled manner, adhering to quality requirements.
- Consistently comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and act as a role model for others on site.
- Understand product safety and customer-specific requirements, and help ensure they are always met.
Senior Project Manager's Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering.
- Project management qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
- Experience in managing and delivering automotive, industrial, or similar engineering projects.
- Skilled in working with business stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of the full project or product lifecycle.
- Proficient with project management tools, methodologies, and related technologies.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, problem-solving skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
