About the role

Based within the R&D Operational Excellence structure, the R&D Sustainability – Process & Reporting team offers a fantastic opportunity available for a Data Processing Specialist to join our team. With the drive to embed sustainability and compliance in our portfolio, high quality data is essential for our business process to work effectively.

As a Data Processing Specialist you will be responsible for collecting, assessing, interpreting, and validating internal Reckitt R&D data as required to support reaching our sustainability goals and ambitions

Your responsibilities

The Data Processing Specialist will ensure internal protocols are followed in collecting, transforming, and validating R&D data attributes, to agreed deadlines.

Communicate progress to team members and programme leadership, and escalate blockers which may impact the agreed schedule and plans.

Interface closely with Functional SMEs on information acquisition and verification.

Identify gaps while performing reviews and suggest resolution options with corrective action plans, collaborating effectively with wider R&D teams for successful implementation of the overall corrective action plan.

Ensure change control and deviation requirements are managed correctly to closure.

Contribute to business process change required for ongoing management, monitoring, and governance of R&D data to maintain data quality, consistency, and integrity.

The experience we're looking for

Degree in a relevant science discipline desirable

Good problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills

Strong sense of urgency and achievement

Knowledge and understanding of basic Chemistry

Comfortable with repetitive data orientated tasks

Experience of working in FMCG or related industry, particularly with knowledge or understanding of product formulation (preferred not essential)
