Rate of Pay:
up to £18 per hour

Hours: 12 hours split over 4 weekdays, plus alternate Saturdays to be worked between the hours of 11am-4pm by arrangement. Flexibility and willingness to occasionally transport the client to and from appointments, in PAs own vehicle, with paid petrol expenses.
Our client lives in Chester city centre, parking is available.

Overview of Tasks:
Duties will include:

  • Personal care (including showering, foot care & wound dressing)
  • Overseeing safety whilst transferring to and from appointments
  • Medication prompts
  • Providing/cooking meals
  • Washing and ironing
  • Shopping and supporting to access the community
  • Companionship
  • To help and assist with daily tasks as they arise
  • To undertake any reasonable task requested by the client

Person Specification

  • Care worker experience either in a care home or in the community
  • Dementia awareness or experience an advantage
  • Ability to use own initiative, patient & kind
  • Honest, reliable, efficient, confident & a good timekeeper
  • Good sense of humour
  • Nonsmoker
  • Appointment is conditional upon receipt of satisfactory references
  • Client's family will be conducting the interviews.
