Requirements:

  • Operate CNC machines to produce parts and components.
  • Read and interpret drawings and instructions.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines.
  • Perform quality checks on parts and components.
  • Follow all health and safety protocols.
- prior experience of using CNC machines/Edgebander

  • Proven experience and knowledge of operating wood or panel processing machines
  • Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings

Responsibilities

  • Operating CNC Routers (variety of 8 different 3 axis CNC routers)
  • Setting CNC Routers (if trained to do so)
  • Carrying out secondary operations on components whenever required (drilling, dowel boring, sanding, edgebanding, assembly etc.)
  • Packing components on pallets ready for delivery
  • Ensuring quality control across components is met
  • Assisting and helping other team members whenever required.
  • Manual handling of timber and components
Further responsibilities may lie in preparing blanks for the CNC e.g. using panel saws, resaw, four sided planer etc. to prepare blanks for CNC.
