Job Title: Junior Air Conditioning Engineer


Company: Established for over 50 years, we focus on high end profiles in education, healthcare, hospitality, and retail sectors, as well as upmarket domestic properties mainly in North & North West London. Proudly boasting an extremely low turnover rate, with employees staying up to 20+ years until retirement. We offer in-house training facilities to provide ongoing training for our team members and groom trainees and apprentices into the industry.


Location: North London


Benefits:

  • £25-30,000pa DOE
  • 8am-5pm working hours
  • Overtime paid after hours, usually home by 3-4pm
  • Van with private use
  • Mobile phone provided
  • 25 days of holiday +8 days
  • £220 on-call payment (rare to be called out)

We are looking for: A highly motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Air Conditioning Engineer. The successful candidate will either hold a valid industry qualification or have hands-on experience and aspire to become fully qualified.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Service and maintenance of VRV, VRF, chillers, Split Systems, and AHUs
  • Working with a team of engineers on repairs
  • Conducting routine maintenance following manufacturer's guidelines
  • Compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Responding to emergency call-outs when needed
  • Stay updated with industry developments and technologies

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Located in North West / North London area
  • FGAS Certified / NVQ level 2 in refrigeration & air conditioning or relevant hands-on experience
  • Flexibility with work hours (early starts / late finishes)
  • Good customer service skills
