The Risk and Assurance Team support in providing assurance for both the Companys ESG Strategy and the Transformation programme.We are looking for a graduate who can support the team in their risk and assurance activities. We provide independent assurance to the PLC board that risk is actively managed in the business. This is a well-respected department who report directly to the Audit & Risk Committee.
This role will enable you to develop strong relationshipsacrossSpeedy Hire withboth individuals and departments and gain a good understanding of the operation of the whole business and how risk management and control frameworks are developed and operated.
What is Risk and Assurance?Risk and Assurance at Speedy Hire is delivered over two main areas;
Corporate Assurance:
This consists of reviewing and evaluating a departments procedures, and identifying areas for improvement, to provide independent assurance to the Audit & Risk Committee that risk management within the organisation is operating effectively.
The effect of the audit is felt business wide and is a vital tool in helping Speedy develop and improve.
Show flexibility in order to travel where requiredHave excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
UK Driving Licence as there is travel associated with this role.
As well as completing your day-to-day role you will also be required to complete our twoyear Speedy Graduate Development Programme.
