We are seeking an enthusiastic friendly person who can support us in providing a high-quality experience for our visitors, with an excellent customer service mindset.
This role is covering weekend hours on either day, or both days to cover holiday/busier periods and during school holidays, there is a possibility to work extra hours during the week, which will be discussed and agreed at the time.
As part of the Soft Play facility, we have an on-site café plus party rooms that parents can hire out for children's parties.
In addition, we have big plans for other upcoming events over the holiday periods - Easter, Summer holidays, Halloween, Christmas, etc.
This is where you come in, as we are looking to recruit a café assistant to help with the ongoing success of the business.
Full Job Description
Taking food and drink orders
Using an EPOS till system
Simple food preparation
Cash handling
Ensuring café area is kept clean and tidy at all times
Must be friendly and pleasant with a warm personality
Great customer service skills
Full training will be provided
- Polite with a warm personality
- Professional with good organisational skills
- Able to work well independently using own initiative having a flexible 'can do' attitude
- Passionate in delivering a highquality service
- Able to multitask and keep calm and collected when under pressure
- Flexibility towards working hours in order to meet the needs of the business
- Confident dealing with parents and children with the ability to handle and escalate complaints if they arise
Training
We require most of our team members to have up to date First Aid and Food Hygiene certificates plus Fire Safety Regulations and Health & Safety in the workplace, however, we will arrange for training where necessary.
