- To play a key role within the behaviour team to support positive behaviour across the academy.
- Working with the SLT, provide support for disaffected / vulnerable pupils with their behaviour.
- To implement and monitor behaviour management strategies.
- To work with pupils, parents, carers and staff regarding pupil behaviour.
- To lead break and lunch time provision, providing clear structures which encourage and maintain high standards in behaviour.
- To undertake individual behaviour plans and risk assessments.
- To work within classrooms to support pupils with behaviour needs.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualifications
- Level 3/ 4 qualification relevant to the role.
- GCSE (or equivalent) grade 5 or above in Maths and English.
- Experience of working with pupils of relevant age in a learning environment.
- Knowledge of behaviour strategies.
- Good knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Evidence of personal development.
- Knowledge of education legislation, guidance and legal requirements.
- Experience using SIMS (desirable).
- First Aid Qualification (desirable).
