What will I be doing?:

Induct new members into the team

Build team skills through skills assessment, training, feedback and support

Manage on-going performance of direct reports

Identify those who have the interest and ability to progress into other roles and facilitate this through agreed procedures

Manage team member adherence to standards and coach/correct as required with the support of the Group Leader

Continuously improve standards set by executing 8 Step Practical Problem Solving and other KPS methodologies as appropriate

Check that standards set within the Production Stream are adhered to through layered confirmation

Support the production team by rectifying / escalating any production issues as they occur

Monitor & Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness

Cover essential elements of Group Leader role in the event of unplanned absenteeism.

Arrange cover for unplanned absenteeism of Team Members

What do I need to be successful?:
In Kerry we understand that people have very different career trajectories and experiences. In order to be successful in this role we would be looking for the right competencies and aptitudes as well as your proven track record of success

Proficient written, numerical and verbal skills; fluent English

Numerical ability to record, interpret and analyse key process data

Knowledge & understanding of manufacturing processes. Relevant experience in a manufacturing operation

Understanding of the people processes needed to build high performing teams

To have a detailed knowledge of the machinery and processes in the area of responsibility (desirable)

Proficient in the use of MS Office tools (desirable)

The ability to identify and plan improvements

Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to be successful in a changing environment
