Working hours: 06:00 - 15:00 (there will be a requirement to do occasional 14:00-23:00 shift instead of 06:00-15:00 shift to cover annual leave and absences)

Purpose of Job
-
To carry out all duties required in connection with the cleaning and waste collection within designated areas of the Estate (outside as well as inside of the building). Job is physically demanding, requiring excellent attention to detail, willingness to adapt and learn within short period of time._

Tasks

  • To use vacuum, scrubbers and other items of cleaning equipment in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, Health and Safety manuals and only after appropriate training has been received
  • To pressure wash external building paving using specialist equipment and chemicals as per training provided
  • To carry out general cleaning duties as instructed within the premises/demised area
  • To ensure a thorough understanding of site Health and Safety information
  • To have read and abide by specific site rules and regulations
  • To handle and use any chemical or solution only in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, and after reading and fully understanding the appropriate COSHH sheets
  • Responding positively to any reasonable instruction from a Manager
  • Displaying a positive, friendly and 'cando' attitude
  • Presenting a friendly and helpful attitude to customers
  • Ensuring that every duty is carried out in a safe manner and that all Health and Safety legislation is adhered to, particularly the placing of warning signs when attempting any cleaning task that may involve risk to others
  • Completing Company administration in a timely and effective manner.
  • Attending meetings and other Company activities as required
  • Presenting a professional image consistent with the Company at all times
  • Ensuring all company property is kept safe and in good condition
  • Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies
  • Any other duty reasonably required by the Company
Experience in cleaning stone floors, and usage of cleaning machinery. Good communication skills, positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to ever-changing environment, excellent customer service.
