Hours of work: 8 – 5pm, hybrid (partly remote and partly in the office)

Salary: Up to £35k based on experience

Role: 12m Fixed-Term Contract

Location: Enfield, London

Project Partners are searching for a skilled Streetworks and Permit Planner to join their friendly team in London. Do you possess traffic management and permitting expertise? Is Enfield your stomping ground?

Role Purpose

  • To plan and coordinate work allocation effectively.
  • To ensure timely delivery of all works, meeting contractual SLAs and maximizing workforce efficiency.
  • Exceed client/customer expectations through top-notch service delivery.

Role Summary

  • Collaborate with teams, supervisors, and operatives to provide accurate job details for smooth execution.
  • Monitor backlogs to meet contractual priorities.
  • Efficiently plan and coordinate all jobs.
  • Generate NRSWA permits for Local Authorities and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Stay updated on permit changes and respond promptly.
  • Handle client requests promptly, courteously, and keep them informed of progress.
  • Track gang progress on contracts and update systems accordingly.
  • Resolve planning queries and provide cover for colleagues when needed.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Key Competencies

  • Experience with Streetmanager system.
  • Prior planning experience.
  • Utility experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective time management and deadline-oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Environmental and customer service awareness.
  • Knowledge of Gas/Electric/Line Search/BT Drawings.
  • Understanding of streetworks and traffic management requirements.
