20 Dallam Lane Warrington WA2 7NG This role is fixed term for 12 months The post holder will work within the service, whilst undertaking a programme of training at John Moores University, where they will progressively learn how to deliver low intensity interventions, at high volume, with patients with anxiety and depression.

You will receive excellent support in the role including extensive clinical and caseload supervision.

About the role You will offer a range of effective treatment and support available to people with common mental health problems such as depression and anxiety and extend this support to provide psychological intervention services to adults with an intellectual/learning disability who have concurrent common mental health problems.


Your knowledge of working within a community-based service is essential and will have equipped you with the relevant communication and interpersonal skills required to build good therapeutic relationships with clients You will be able to demonstrate high standards in written communication as well as excellent verbal communication including telephone skills.

You will also be able to evaluate and put in place the skills and knowledge that you are provided as part of the training and development opportunities included in this role.

It is essential that you hold a health-related degree. Training in nursing, social work, occupational therapy or within a psychological therapy would be desirable.
