The service provides a comprehensive and high quality level of support to patients and their families, with a predominantly ANNP led workforce. In recent years Connect NW has benefitted from considerable investment to provide a fleet of new dedicated neonatal ambulances and increased funding to work towards 24/7 neonatal transport consultant support. The service has recently moved into brand new accomodation in a single ambulance Hub near Warringon which has provided excellent facilities in a central location.
