Kendal House is a lovely 21 bedroom care home in the centre of Whitley Bay with a brilliant local reputation for providing person centred care to elderly residents.

We are looking for a dedicated carer to continue the provision of high standard care to our residents.

The role is available on a full time basis but part time applicants will be considered.


Kendal House is a small independent care home in the centre of Whitley Bay caring for adults over 65 years.

We have 21 bedrooms and provide elderly care services including dementia care.

The job is for 36 hours per week between the hours of 8am and 8pm Monday-Sunday. There is regular overtime to be picked up if that is of interest.

We pride ourselves on providing an excellent person centred service at Kendal House.

  • We would ideally like to hire a senior carer with experience in care and level 2 certification, working towards level 3, we can provide training on the job. Would prefer medication trained but if not can provide training.
Salary and hourly rate is £12.50 per hour and £12.75 at a weekend. Bank holidays are paid time and a half.
