As part of the Creative Services team, Study Group's in-house creative agency, this position is focused on filming and editing 'students-first' visual content for global audiences, including China, to recruit international students.

The role works alongside print and digital designers, and content producers and adds to a very busy visual production team, in collaboration with Marketing and Digital teams.

There is also UK and occasional overseas travel required.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Video production (editing and filming).
  • Travelling to Study Centres and partner universities across the UK to meet and interview staff, students, and colleagues for specific projects. This may sometimes require overseas travel.
  • Using and managing Study Group digital camera equipment (you will not be required to own your own equipment).
  • Management of the video server to make sure it is accessible to other employees to access video content.
  • Concept ideation to propose creative solutions for visual content.

ABOUT YOU

  • Proficient in video software like Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere and photo editing software such as Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • Confident in lighting and filming with DSLR cameras.
  • Must be flexible and keen for travelling to shoots, occasionally at short notice.
  • Must be able to produce content as a onestop shop and see a project through from inception to delivery.
  • Strong storytelling skills and the ability to envision projects within a larger multimedia context.
  • Must be a dynamic thinker, excited to experiment with new and different concepts and content types.
  • An eye for detail in everything you do.
  • Strong people skills and excellent communication skills are imperative.
