Garden Centre Assistant

Independent Garden Centre requires experienced full time Garden Centre Assistant.

Must be able to use a Till to serve customers in the main shop

  • Must have good knowledge of plants and plant care
  • Able to assist in the Plants Area
  • Must be able to lift and handle goods (e.g. bags of compost), load, unload and run trolleys to and from the Nursery area
  • Must like dealing with people, have good communication skills as well as being conscientious, enthusiastic and motivated
  • Must have a driving licence and transport, due to location


Working hours: 09.00 to 17.00 on a two week rota basis which will include alternate weekends being Saturday & 10.00 to 16.00 Sunday.

A designated day off per week. Also provide cover for sickness and holidays.
