Qualifications, experience and knowledge:

Essential criteria:

  • Full GMC registration
  • MRCP
  • NTN in Respiratory Medicine
  • Experience of audit/research
  • Knowledge of basic research methods and statistics
  • Experience in supervision of clinical staff and students

Skills and abilities:

Essential criteria:

  • Computer literacy skills
  • Clinical skills in internal medicine appropriate to grade
  • Specialist skills in Respiratory Medicine
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to adhere to UCL's Equal Opps and H&S Policies

Desirable criteria:

  • Education and teaching skills
  • Specialist skills in bronchoscopy and EBUS
