About The Role

As the GSI Partner Lead for the EMEA region, you will have a crucial role in establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships with Global Systems Integrators (GSIs). You will be in charge of creating and executing partner strategies to boost revenue, expand market presence, and increase adoption of CockroachDB across the region. This position provides a special chance to cooperate with top technology firms and shape the future of distributed database solutions. This job will support the EMEA region and is remote, but you need to be located in the UK to qualify.

You Will:
  • Develop and implement GSI engagement strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration in the EMEA region.
  • Establish solid relationships with key decision-makers at partner organizations, including executives, sales leaders, and technical teams.
  • Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to align partner initiatives with business goals and go-to-market strategies.
  • Lead joint sales and marketing activities with partners to generate leads, expedite deal cycles, and maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Provide partner training and enablement to ensure effective positioning and selling of CockroachDB solutions.
  • Monitor and assess partner performance, pipeline, and revenue metrics, and deliver regular reports to senior management.
  • Act as a trusted consultant to partners, providing strategic advice and assistance to drive mutual success and customer satisfaction.
You Have:
  • 8-10+ years in pre-sales, post-sales, and/or partnership roles within the cloud technology sector.
  • Established and successful relationships with GSIs throughout EMEA.
  • Good grasp of cloud ecosystems, including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Capability to collaborate across functions and demonstrate leadership.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on revenue growth and business impact.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
The Expectations

Within your initial 30 days, you will familiarize yourself with CockroachDB and become proficient in the product. We believe it's vital for you to establish this foundation.

By the end of your first 90 days in the role, the goal is for you to have successfully onboarded, refined the alliance strategy, initiated key collaborations, and laid the groundwork for revenue growth through cloud partnerships. Your team should be aligned with their objectives, and you should be actively involved with GSI partners to ensure a fruitful partnership.
