**A privately owned Precision Engineering business based in Bridgwater are looking for an Operations Manager to join their established and highly
- successful business. With easy access to the M5, this business is commutable from Bristol, Exeter and mostparts of Somerset.
Your new role
As the Operations Manager; you'll be reporting into the Managing Director with total accountability for all manufacturing output whilst managing 4 direct and 30 indirect reports.
You will be expected to lead change across the business, driving process improvement,reducing wastage and improving OEE where possible.within this role, you will be expected to improve the communication between the back office, design and manufacturing teams to support business growth.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have a proven leadership record within a manufacturing business.
Ideally you'll hold professional qualifications within Lean / Six Sigma however this is not crucial if you have an accompanying core understanding of Lean methodologies.
Ideally you'llhave worked with CNC machinery in the past and have an understanding of how to read / interrupt CAD drawings.
What you'll get in return
As the Operations Manager, you'll be paid an annual salary of up to £60,000 and be entitled to a company car.
