Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at oilandgas. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth movement of materials and inventory throughout our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop and maintain effective working relationships with our clients and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of logistics activities.
  • Material Movement: Oversee the receipt, storage, and delivery of materials from vendors and our fabrication shop to the point of need on site, ensuring timely and precise execution.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date material documentation, including quality and stock records, to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Discrepancy Management: Identify and resolve stock discrepancies, material quality issues, and late deliveries with external parties, mitigating potential project delays and costs.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify and develop improvements to our inventory management and logistics processes to ensure just-in-time delivery and seamless operations.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage our Stores personnel to ensure all logistics activities are executed in line with project requirements and company standards.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment: Demonstrate a strong commitment to good housekeeping and safe working practices, ensuring all personnel adhere to HSE regulations in all work areas.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in logistics operations and inventory management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
