This is an exciting opportunity for an accountant who will be highly flexible and adaptable with the ability to work well within a small and friendly team.

This role will add value through the individual's capability to collaborate relevant financial andnon-financial information to aid in management decision making.

The post holder will assist the financial controller to deliver the budget process, prepare the management accounts, assist with the year end audit and provide high quality information.

You will have an analytical mind, be a well-developed communicator andself-motivated.

Key Duties

  • Month/year end process ownership
  • Management accounts preparation and pre review before submission to the FC for final review
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and asset schedule maintenance
  • VAT Return
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis
  • Assisting with budget preparation
  • Preparation for yearend audits
  • P11D's

Skills/Experience

  • Finance experience/experience in a similar role
  • Studying/Qualified CIMA or another equivalent
  • Solid management accounting experience
  • Persuasive communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to trouble shoot effectively
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook,)
  • A high level of proficiency in Excel is a requirement to be successful in this role
1st Stage interviews to take place 4th and 6th January 2023
