We are currently looking for caring and compassionate individuals to join our team as Residential Children's Support Workers.

As a support worker, you will be responsible for providing residential care and support to children and young people who may have experienced trauma or difficulties in their lives.


Responsibilities:

  • Providing a safe and supportive environment for children and young people.
  • Building positive relationships.
  • Providing emotional and practical support.
  • Supporting children and young people with their daily routines.
  • Encouraging them to develop their social and life skills.
  • Ensuring the home is maintained to a high standard.
  • Completing relevant paperwork and reports.
  • Working as part of a team to meet the needs of the children and young people.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • A caring and compassionate attitude.
  • Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and sleepins.
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding.
  • Able to commit to the following shift patterns: 8am11pm, 3pm11pm, Sleep ins and waking nights.
  • 1 day minimum availability per week.
