The team has visibility across all areas and levels of seniority in the Bank, and this role provides the chance to use your skills and experience to make a significant impact on the data management skills of colleagues.
You will be part of the Skills and Learning Hub.We provide the learning support colleagues need to help them realise the potential of our data, and the analytical tools and platforms available to them.
This service is a key part of the skills element of the Bankwide Data & Analytics strategy and will be growing significantly in the coming few years.
The Data Management Learning service is a brand new part of this team so it's a great opportunity to utilise your experience and expertise to help get this off the ground, starting with the creation of learning content to support the implementation of the Bank's Data Management and Data Analytics Policies.
The jobholder will work very closely with our Data Management Hub (who support colleagues to understand their data processes and pipelines, improve the quality of their data and better manage their data assets) and the Analytics Enablement Hub (who support colleagues by managing our data science and analysis toolset and promote analytical best practice).
The main responsibilities of this role are:
- Take the lead in designing and creating an engaging suite of learning resources to enable colleagues to understand and carry out their roles and responsibilities as defined in the policies. These resources will need to be in a variety of formats, tailored to the particular audience they are for and convey technical information in an easy to consume way.
- Provide advice and guidance to help shape the overall structure of the learning portfolio.
Role Requirements:
- Experience in designing and creating new learning content through a variety of mediums as well as thinking creatively to create new solutions. Experience of using a tool (for example the Adobe creative suite or the Articulate elearning software) to create engaging resources or infographics would be desirable.
- Ability to convey technical information in an easy to consume way.
- Impactful, clear and succinct communication and presentational skills.
- Ability to work with mínimal direction, to plan and handle a number of priorities, ensuring outputs are of high quality.
- Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
