Clinical Deputy Manager

About the home:
We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Deputy Manager (RGN) (RMN) or (RNLD) to join our friendly and welcoming care home providing nursing care for older adults with a range of health needs.


About the Role:
As the Deputy Nurse Manager at our lovely care home in Norwich, you will oversee and assist every aspect of nursing care and activities within the home, making sure the level of clinical care provided goes beyond just professional standards and statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements. It will mean providing specialist nursing support and advice, taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager's absence and supervising/coaching the wider team. Always seeking to share your clinical experience, you will provide valuable support, guidance, and assistance to the rest of our care staff, helping to create an inspired, motivated and empowered team resulting in outstanding levels of care for our clients.
Working with a fantastic, supportive Manager this is a great opportunity for a Deputy Manager to join a friendly, welcoming team. The home specialises in re-enablement and rehabilitation of the elderly, management of terminal illnesses and long-term diseases and holistic palliative care.


Responsibilities:

  • Assistance with daily management of the home:
  • Take responsibility for the running of the home in the absence of the Registered Manager.
  • Help the registered manager with the general management of the home working under their guidance and leadership.
  • Support the Registered Manager produce and maintain the systems and procedures for auditing and assuring quality of care provided by the home.
  • Clinical support

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with valid NMC PIN
  • Proven experience as a Clinical Nurse Manager or similar clinical leadership role
  • Experience working in a nursing home environment
  • Clear understanding of regulatory frameworks
