Due to continued growth we have a fantastic opportunity for an AWS Technical Consultant to join our Cloud Solutions team.

Our Technical Consultants routinely provide post-sales technical consultancy, undertake delivery and implementation engagements, as well as providing pre-sales qualification and design to consultancy engagements.

A typical AWS Technical Consultant will have had five or more years' experience in a technical consulting type role, with an excellent understanding and experience of delivering AWS centric solutions.

Responsibilities
Solution Pre-Sales and Scoping

  • Lead with qualification of designs and opportunities
  • Lead and present at customer opportunities and workshop sessions
  • Takes responsibility for understanding client requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis and problem resolution
  • Identifies, evaluates and recommends options, implementing if required
  • Collaborates with, and facilitates stakeholder groups, as part of formal or informal consultancy agreements
  • Seeks to fully address client needs, enhancing the capabilities and effectiveness of client personnel, by ensuring that proposed solutions are properly understood and appropriately exploited
  • Lead and contribute to Statement of Works
Service Delivery

  • Undertake individual consultancy assignments or work on a project as part of a larger team analysing customer requirements, gathering and analysing data and recommending solutions
  • Technically manage the design and implementation of solutions, with the exception of those which are high risk/large scale
  • Ensure consultancy assignments are undertaken consistently and with quality
  • Highlight technical risks so that any Commscare exposure to commercial loss can be minimised
  • Produce and update assignment documentation as required
  • Ensure that hand over to relevant support organisation is successfully completed
  • Provide technical support as requested, for internal and external customers
