Technical Consultant (TAM) - Amazon Web Services

As a Technical Consultant, you will play a critical role in driving customer adoption and use of AWS services. Your technical expertise and customer-facing skills will enable you to effectively represent AWS within a customer's environment, and drive discussions with senior leadership regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.

You will provide advocacy and strategic technical direction to help plan and build solutions using standard methodologies and enthusiastically keep your customers' AWS environments operationally healthy. The close relationships developed with your customers will empower you to understand their business/operational needs and technical challenges, and help them achieve the greatest value from AWS.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide field support to resolve inquiries from Enterprise customers regarding AWS service or Cloud.
  2. Complete analysis and present periodic reviews of operational performance to customer.
  3. Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, detailed pre-launch planning.
  4. Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy whilst reducing cost and complexity.
  5. Foster trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
  6. Lead technical discussions with senior leadership regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.
  7. Work directly with AWS global engineering and service teams to resolve customer issues.
Requirements

Experience as a technical account manager, consultant, solutions architect, platform engineer, systems engineer, cloud architect or in a similar role.

7+ years of hands-on & Troubleshooting experience in one of the following areas: Infrastructure / Linux or Windows System Administration / Networking / CDN / Database / DevOps / BigData / Analytics / AI,ML / Security / Open Source / Web Application Development.

Strong customer focus and bias for action; and ability to work with remote teams.

Candidates must have business communication skills in Korean.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, or related discipline required, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AWS services and/or other cloud offerings.

Business Speaking in English.
