The role:

As the Interim Head of Finance, you will play a key role in overseeing the financial operations of our client's organisation while they recruit for the permanent Head of Finance position. This is a temporary role for approximately 2 to 3 months, where you will work 4 days a week, 6 hours a day just outside Bowness on Windermere.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing financial strategies to support the goals and objectives of the organisation.
  • Managing the budgeting process and providing accurate financial forecasts.
  • Monitoring cash flow and ensuring the organisation's financial stability.
  • Overseeing financial reporting and analysis, providing valuable insights to key stakeholders.
  • Leading a small finance team and supporting their professional development.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven track record in a senior finance role, preferably within the arts or creative sector.
  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to develop and implement financial strategies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
