Auction Yard Person

The key duties include but are not limited to:

  • Maintenance of site.
  • Preparing items for the online auction catalogue (washing machinery and debranding stock if/where required).
  • Assist with preparing the yard for auction (layout/lining up items, lotting).
  • Safe coordination of loading and unloading activities.
  • Ensuring all aspects of Health, Safety and Environment policies are observed at all times.
This role requires a hardworking and organised individual.

You will need a keen eye for detail and the ability to be flexible and manage your workload to meet conflicting deadlines.

We are looking for someone who is willing to work as a team but can work efficiently on their own.

Due to the nature of this role, you will mainly be based outside all year round and the duties are physically demanding requiring a reasonably high level of physical fitness.

Plant experience preferred but not essential.

Counterbalance Forklift Licence and/or Telescopic Forklift Licence would be preferable but not essential.

Hours:
Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5pm. Occasional Saturdays maybe required.

Salary negotiable depending on experience.
