To provide a specialised service that includes assessment, treatment, advice and management of children and young people with complex eating disorders with a range of additional needs including neuro-developmental, relationships, behavioural, sensory processing and social care needs.
- To contribute assessment information and observations that form part of multidisciplinary diagnostic assessments for eating disorders.
- To provide advice to other interagency professional staff and to provide clinical education and training to others including support staff and students.
- To deliver individual work and case management relevant to the needs of the client group.
- To independently manage a personal caseload of young people working without direct supervision.
- To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner and access the supervision, advice, training and support from senior team members within the CAMHS SEDATT service.
