Page Group are partnered with a multi billion turnover manufacturing organisation based in Bridgend to recruit a Sales Estimator on a full time, permanent basis.

Description

• To provide technical service and advice to both internal and external stakeholders.
• To receive telephone / TEAMS etc. calls and make telephone / TEAMS etc. calls in a professional manner, and have constant liaison with Customer Service.
• To provide specific product and systems knowledge support to clients in order to promote product and brand awareness in the UK & I markets.
• Technical Service:
• To work closely with customer service and & UK I peers in developing and supporting the South & UK I technical offer to customers. This includes installation advice, creation & provision of details and drawings, work with installers and customers in orderto secure project specifications and orders.
• To confirm special products capabilities on request and be proactive in product recommendations standard or special where appropriate.
• To work on specific acoustic evaluation of project requirements and subsequent provision of advice and recommendations supported with: Reverberation time calculations, roof rain noise calculations and ceiling flanking noise insulation (Dnf,w) calculations.
• To provide contribution to technical training material for internal and external customers, this including the preparation of training support, especially within the Continuous Professional Development arena.
• To provide contribution to best practice guidance and the issuing of Technical Advice Notes (TAN's)
• Development and testing:
• To assist in development of local solutions and to support new product & system development following Group orientation.
• To maintain and update product and system specification clauses in line with the latest National Building Specifications, CAWS and Uniclass formats.
• To assimilate National and International Building Regulations and product performance standards and requirements.
• To work closely with the ASM's, SSM's & BDM's to support claim and complaints management by giving technical expertise and be in close contact with factories.
• To support the Marketing department in the preparation of relevant documentation to support the sales team in securing specifications, including data sheets and technical data in pricelists, NBS specifications (CAWS and Uniclass) together with any relevantdocumentation required for them to carry out their role.

Profile

• 2 years experience in construction or manufacturing industry
• CAD proficent
• Excellent customer service skills
