Payroll Administrator

Location:
Chineham HQ, Basingstoke, Hampshire.

With our continued successes, comes an increasing workforce.

Our recruitment is continuing at a rapid pace and as a result, the Payroll function is also expanding and now needs diligent and pragmatic support.


Operating a monthly pay-run, the Payroll team processes the salaries for everyone in the UK & Ireland, as well as administering all changes, benefits, pensions and deductions.


During the month, the team supports all queries, starters and leavers, as well running audit and internal reporting to our European accounts team - this includes both standardised monthly reports, as well as adhoc and project-based.

You will take part in monthly data input, preparation of expenses, payments, P11Ds, P60, reconciliations and various calculations.

You will administer pension submissions and opt in/outs, new starters, leavers, benefits, SSP, SMP and other statutory paymentsas well as diverse payroll related transactions.

A big part of the job is answering queries from our colleagues about their pay in a friendly, confidential and helpful but accurate way.


What we look for:

  • Previous experience in an office administrative or payroll position.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A friendly, engaging and pragmatic approach to your work.
  • Comfortable in using Microsoft Office.
  • Thrives in an agile and rapidpaced environment.
  • Any experience of a payroll system, such as Sage would be advantageous but not essential.
