The Role: Senior Estimator

As a Senior Estimator at Bethell Construction, you will be responsible for preparing analytical estimates from first principles and all necessary data to create winning tender bids. Your tasks will include reviewing tender information, assessing workscope, quantifying accurate quantities, soliciting subcontractor quotes, and leveraging available information to eliminate ambiguities. Additionally, you will assign tasks to other Estimating team members and ensure bid submissions align with ITT instructions in a professional manner.

Essential Skills & Experience
  • HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in estimating, focusing on Civil Engineering disciplines like water, wastewater, highways, and groundworks
  • Minimum 5 years of on-site experience in a water/wastewater utility organization
  • Expertise in estimating software such as Valesco, Causeway, Conquest or Candy
  • Proven financial and commercial management skills
  • Good understanding of CESMM, HWMM, SMM7
  • Familiarity with NEC forms of Contract
