Position Overview:
A reputable and award-winning construction firm is looking for a Junior Cost Estimator to become part of their dynamic team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in managing a residential project under the guidance of a Senior Cost Estimator.
The ideal candidate will receive a competitive salary package of up to £45,000 per annum, complemented by an attractive benefits scheme. Furthermore, flexible working arrangements and the possibility of remote work after a probationary period will be available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of tender and contract documentation
- Conduct thorough cost analysis and maintain financial oversight throughout projects
- Support the management of project budgets and financial reporting
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved
- Assist in evaluating variations and claims
Essential Qualifications:
HNC or higher in Quantity Surveying
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related position
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong commercial awareness
- Excellent numerical and analytical capabilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in relevant software applications
