The role is based at Crook Log Leisure centre. We are running from April 2nd to April 12th from 8am - 6pm.

Koala Klubs Activity Camps is a leading provider of school Holiday activities in the UK.

Our trusted holiday camps operate at venues across the country offering outstanding childcare & activity provision to children whilst providing peace of mind to parents.


With camps running nationwide during almost all the school holidays, we have ongoing opportunities for enthusiastic leaders who know how to deliver outstanding sports, arts, and play activities.


1.
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver activities for children aged 5 13yrs, focusing on participation, development, and enjoyment while working both alone and alongside other staff.
  • Encourage participation through enthusiasm, passion and energy.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures on Camp are adhered to by yourself and the children in your care, including all health and safety, and safeguarding procedures.
  • Attend a Camp Induction and complete an assessment prior to the camp starting.
  • Supporting and caring for children throughout the week while continuously promoting their welfare and best interests.
  • Supervise and engage with the children outside of activity times. (sign in/out times & during their lunch/snack breaks).
  • Live up to the company's promise of 'Inspiring Children Every Day' and behave in a manner that reflects the expectations of the company throughout your employment.
  • Show the required energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism for the duration of the season, acting as an ambassador for Koala Klubs and behaving as a suitable role model for children.
  • Other adhoc duties (cleaning, equipment maintenance/ordering etc).

Essential Requirements

  • Enthusiastic, energetic individual, passionate about working with children and supporting their development through activities.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Experience working with children.
  • Flexible, team player, able to adapt to dynamic situations and challenges.
  • Someone looking for a challenging, but hugely rewarding, enjoyable job in the holidays, as well as the opportunity to further their career in the education, coaching, and/or childcare industries.

Desirable Requirements:

-Hold a Paediatric First Aid (12 hour or 6 hour) or First Aid qualification.

Must Have Requirements:

  • Valid enhanced DBS
