About the Job

As a Cloud Technical Lead for the SAS Cloud team in SAS's Cloud and Information Services (CIS) division, you will play a crucial role in managing our hosted and remote managed SAS application environments. Collaboration with customers, analysts, developers, and implementation team members will be key to delivering top-notch SAS services.

  • Provide technical leadership and ownership from project kick-off through UAT and go-live for customer projects
  • Consult post go-live for major changes and resolution of complex problems
  • Ensure technical project requirements are well-defined and progress smoothly
  • Enhance operational requirements for system stability and improved customer experience
  • Facilitate actions as a SAS Administrator when needed
  • Adhere to SAS Cloud standards and best practices
  • Deliver knowledge transfer and excellent customer service
  • Use IT Service Management best practices for change, incident, and problem management

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience writing programs in multiple languages
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • English Fluency. Dutch and/or Spanish fluency preferred
  • Technical experience including SAS Administration, systems support, UNIX or Linux

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms like Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, or OpenShift
  • Experience with containers, Python, Ansible, Kubernetes, and scripting
  • Installing and using SAS software, programming in SAS
  • Java or Web development experience
  • Ability to travel occasionally within region
