As a QA Automation Engineer at Komment, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our developer productivity platform.

You are a self-starter who consistently demonstrates ownership of the testing process across our tech stack. You have an eye for detail and a passion for ensuring the highest quality standards for software.

Create and manage automated test suites for various layers of the application stack, from the database and cloud infrastructure to frontend UI.

Develop and implement testing strategies that identify and surface up root cause of issues in a timely manner.

Identify, document, and report software defects to ensure timely resolution, continuously refining test scripts to maximize efficiency and coverage.

Proactively participate in code reviews, sharing insights, and contributing to our testing best practices.

Utilize your strong AWS knowledge to optimize and manage test environments, ensuring the seamless operation of automated testing processes.

Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, proposing innovative solutions to enhance our QA automation framework and testing capabilities.

You will spend the majority of your time writing code. A disciplined programming work ethic is crucial for success in this role.

Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent field.
Extremely strong proficiency in Typescript, unit testing and integration testing, backed by a solid portfolio .
Demonstrated experience with AWS services and deployments.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, adapting quickly to shifting priorities and taking a proactive approach.
Strong analytical skills coupled with a creative mindset to effectively chaos engineer various systems.
Fluency in English is a must.
