We are looking for a PACS Administrator to join our team within the Radiology Department here at University Hospital Southampton.


Being part of our successful admin team will mean being available throughout the week, Mon - Fri 08:30 to 16:30.

The PACS /RIS team are a Team of 8 and we look after the Administration of the PACS/RIS System for the UHS Trust.

The Team was awarded the Radiology Sirius Award 2021 for going above and beyond.

You will be responsible for dealing with telephone queries from patients, Health Professionals and other organisations, reception duties; Unexpected Findings notifications; PACS/RIS Fire Warden; Medico Legal and Provide ad hoc admin support to members of the PACS/RIS team as required.


ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of working in a Team environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

  • Courses / further study attended to demonstrate evidence of personal development
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Experience in a clinical service or customer focused environment.
  • Administrative and organisational experience
