£55,000 to £60,000 plus Bonus & Benefits

Our client a long-term owner of historic properties across London and the South East plays a key role in the employment-led regeneration of areas all over London.

They are focussed on repurposing old buildings to create vibrant office space and bring employmentinto the area, while reducing their impact on the environment.

Acknowledging today's climate emergency, they are committed to becoming a net zero carbon business by 2030 and will achieve this by driving down their own emissions and working collaborativelywith their customers to do the same.


They are now seeking a Sustainability Reporting and Engagement Manager to join their sustainability team and help them to achieve best practice on disclosure by engaging their stakeholders to drive impact.

You will be reporting to the Head of Sustainabilityand working with teams across the business as well as their dynamic customer base.

The sustainability team work closely with each other and collaboratively on all projects, right from strategy setting to implementation and reporting.

With high levels of buy-infor sustainability within the business and their customers, you will have plenty of opportunity to take the lead on (or get involved) on a number of sustainability initiatives.


As their Sustainability Reporting and Engagement Manager you will:

  • Lead on sustainability reporting and disclosure, aligning with best practice standards
  • Engage and inspire stakeholder (employees, customers, communities) to be more environmental and socially responsible
  • Work with the team on sustainability strategy setting and implementation

Responsibilities for the role of Sustainability Reporting and Engagement Manager include:

  • Coordination and preparation of sustainability data and information for the Annual report
  • Leading the daytoday management of sustainability KPIs and monthly reporting requirements, working closely with other departments
  • Working with auditors as they undertake the assurance process
  • Supporting the coordination and preparation of sustainability data and narrative for inclusion in submissions to ESG indices, including GRESB and CDP
  • Preparing responses to requests from lenders, investors and customers on sustainability performance
  • Working with external consultants to align the sustainability reporting with best practice standards
  • Support creation of sustainability content for case studies, external reports, website and award submissions
  • Maintain awareness and keep wider team informed of regulatory developments
  • Lead on customer engagement initiatives, driving greater awareness of our sustainability programme and customer satisfaction
  • Identify and lead on collaboration opportunities with our customers to drive greater environmental and social impact
  • Support the delivery of our social impact programme, working with community partners and customers
  • Champion supply chain sustainability initiatives
  • Support the team on sustainability strategy setting and implementation

Skills and experience required for the role of Sustainability Reporting and Engagement Manager include:

  • Experience in ESG/Corporate Sustainability and understanding of reporting frameworks
  • Experience of working with data or corporate data systems to understand performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Experience in preparing GRESB submissions and social value reporting would be beneficial
  • Familiarity with EPRA sBPR or GRI standards, TCFD and SECR reporting would be beneficial
