About the job:
- Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality Endoscopy care
- Lead a team and manage the day-to-day operations of the Endoscopy Suite
- Offer expertise and leadership to ensure a safe and patient-centered endoscopy service
Qualifications and experience:
- Registered Nurse with a background in Gastroenterology/Endoscopy
- Nursing qualification (ENB906 or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Endoscopy Nurse
- Experience in the Independent sector
- Teaching/Mentorship qualification
Responsibilities:
- Manage the endoscopy service to deliver high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with the Theatre Manager to maintain staffing levels and clinical standards
- Ensure a safe environment and address any issues affecting patient safety
- Provide specialist advice and support as needed
- Maintain equipment and resources for endoscopy sessions
- Participate in the care and maintenance of endoscopes and specialized equipment
- Maximize utilization of endoscopy time
