About the role:


As a Business Resource Planner (PAC's Clerk) within our TrainCare Centre (TCC) team, you'll provide a wide variety of administrative support across the engineering department.

You'll be responsible for assisting our production team, by helping our Production Leaders with a comprehensive support service.

You'll report to our Production Managers, working in our Neville Hill TCC in Leeds.

This role is often fast paced, and you'll act as a main point of contact on our TCC for various employees, to help provide support, including sickness, payroll queries and rosters.

Key responsibilities:

This is a varied and challenging role, but here is a taste of what your day-to-day activities could include:

  • Preparing and processing works and sales orders
  • Inputting and maintaining our safety documentation, as it's about working on our Train Care Centres as safely and efficiently as possible.
  • Minute taking to support the wider business
  • The managing of the rosters for the Service Drivers, on the time management system allocating overtime, to ensure we meet minimum staffing levels, as necessary
  • Assisting with sickness absences, including sending medical referrals
  • Providing additional support, where necessary to others in the team

About you:

We are looking for someone with previous administrative experience who is used to working in a busy environment.

You'll have the ability to prioritise and manage your own time, because we need someone who can start helping the team as soon as they join us So, you'll have to be highly organised with a positive attitude to manage everything in a timely manner.


We expect you to have English and Maths GCSE's or equivalent and be a strong team player, who can build strong relationships with the production team and others around you.

You'll need to have excellent attention to detail, ensuring the quality and integrity of the information being recorded.
