A newly created role, we are seeking an Exposure Management Analyst proficient in using AIR who will be responsible for managing and delivering modelling results and exposure reporting across the business.
The new role will be supporting our MGA, Rokstone Underwriting, and Exposure Management (EM) team and will be involved in exciting projects.
Role ResponsibilitiesnManage and monitor the daily operation of the AIR modelling platform, cat model analytics and exposure accumulation system.nBuild/contribute to the workflow automation for scheduled reports and other repetitive modelling tasks.nBecome the first point of contact for the London underwriting teams for all reporting and modelling enquiries.nWork out ad hoc cat model analyses and handle special modelling cases.nAssist with various other projects and reporting related to NatCat as required.nInteract closely with the EM team, AIR and ExposureHub specialists to achieve superior data quality in Rokstone cat modelling and exposure reporting.nFollow AIR to keep track of the most recent cat model developments.
Liaise with and guide the MIS team to deliver tailor-made data extracts (e.g. carrier data & modelling requests) and to bring them into automation.nWork with the MIS team to integrate AIR results in UW-systems and MIS systems.
Role RequirementsnBachelor's degree, preferably in Mathematics, Science, Geography or other related degree.n0 -2 years of experience in the insurance industry is preferred.nExperience with accumulation systems and 3rd party catastrophe model is required.
Knowledge of AIR system is preferred but not essential.nProvide and contribute to automated solutions for our exposure reporting and catastrophe modelling processes.nStrong communication skills are required to liaise with the EM team and underwriting team.nAbility to work effectively both independently and within teams.nStrong analytical and problem-solving approach.nHighly motivated team player with good interpersonal skills.nStrong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task is required.nAdvanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel.nGood knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and/or GIS skills are a distinct advantage.nKnowledge and use of AIR system.nWorking knowledge of ExposureHub, Sequel Impact or anything equivalent is preferred but not essential.
