Job descriptionOur client is seeking a skilled and motivated Electricians/ CCTV Engineers to work on ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) systems.

As an ANPR Highways Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and optimization of ANPR systems.

This includes ensuring the accurate and reliable capture of license plate data for a variety of applications that support South of Wales Police ANPR infrastructure and the South of England.

Previous experience with ANPR experience would be advantageous, but not essential. The client is willing to train newly qualified Electricians/ CCTV Engineers if they have a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities

  • Technical Support and Maintenance of ANPR Assets
  • Installation and Configuration on ANPR camera and associated hardware
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting
  • System Optimization
  • Data Analysis
  • Security Measures Documentation, including maintenance and fault reports
  • Team Support
  • Communicate effectively with clientsQualifications/Skills
  • Electrical/ CCTV installation and maintenance experience as a minimum
  • Clean Drivers licence
  • Knowledge of networking protocols
  • Familiarity with Computers
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
