Job Title: Fleet Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Engineering Manager to lead our team in Cwmbran, South Wales.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for a team of engineering colleagues, including skilled vehicle technicians, coach builders, electricians, and presentation team members who ensure our fleet of vehicles is safely out on the road for our local community every single day.

Our engineering teams ensure vehicles traveling an average of 12 million miles across South Wales are in top condition, providing reliability and the preferred customer brand of choice for travel while maintaining the highest quality standards for vehicle maintenance and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineering colleagues to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our fleet.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize vehicle availability.
  • Collaborate with senior management and engineering director to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, mentoring, and coaching to maintain performance and standards.
Requirements:

You should have a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in HGV or PSV maintenance and experience in a related field, such as the truck/haulage industries, in an engineering setting.
