General Summary
We are currently recruiting a forward-thinking individual to assist in the development and running of the Royalties function within a fast-growing and competitive leader in publishing.
Key responsibilities
- Enter and maintain contractual data and payments, to ensure accurate calculation of royalty earnings
- Create, analyse and work from reports
- Process Third-Party statements and payments
- Liaise with clients and agents regarding statement queries
- Become a key team member in a constantly changing industry, communicating with teams across multiple departments and offices
- Assist on projects to help improve and grow the business
- Ad hoc duties as required
Qualifications and Experience
- Forwardthinking and focused on continuous improvement and development
- Friendly, approachable and able to remain calm under pressure
- Strong maths skills and an ability to learn quickly
- Knowledge of the publishing industry advantageous but not essential
- Must be comfortable managing phone calls and being able to build positive ongoing relationships with our authors, illustrators and agents
- Basic knowledge of Excel would be highly desirable
- Prior experience with Biblio advantageous but not required
- Must be comfortable with a mix of team working and working remotely, including being part of wider team across Bonnier Books UK.
