Join a leading company in the *nuclear energy* sector known for its innovative solutions and cutting-edge technologies. They are currently involved in several groundbreaking power generation projects and are in need of expanding their talented team.

The **Nuclear Island Buildings Manager** holds a key position overseeing the Buildings Integrated Team and managing all design activities related to the project, ensuring safety, quality, design maturity, and cost effectiveness.

You will be responsible for:

  • Product integration within the Integrated Team including civil, layout, MEH, equipment, steelworks, transverse/hazard studies, and technical integration
  • Delivery of project safety, quality, schedule, cost, and design maturity requirements
  • Post-CS2/post-delivery activities for the Nuclear Island Buildings scope
  • Operational management of HPC Nuclear Island Buildings design delivery
  • Resolving technical issues promptly and efficiently
  • Managing Risks & Opportunities for the team
  • Coordinating with other integrated teams and stakeholders
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

You:

  • Degree in a relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering, leadership, or project management
  • Experience in Nuclear New Build, EPR, or PWR
  • Extensive knowledge of EPR design and engineering processes
  • Skills in project and delivery management
  • Familiarity with UK laws, regulations, and best practices in the nuclear industry
  • Leadership experience in a highly regulated technical environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to establish collaborative relationships with various stakeholders
  • Team and pastoral management skills
  • Proficiency in French (highly desirable)
