Hull Kingston Rovers are a professional rugby league club who were formed in 1882, as Kingston Amateurs, by a group of young workers in the shipping industry in West Hull.
This is an exciting time for the club as new investment has led to the expansion of the medical and performance departments.
Working Hours
- Full-Time
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Under guidance of the Lead Physiotherapist provide soft tissue provision for the first team squad for both training and games.
- Under the guidance of the Lead Physiotherapist supervise rehabilitation of first team players
- Maintain the following qualifications in addition to those in essential criteria, Mental Health First Aid, Safeguarding, DBS, UKAD Introduction to Clean Sport.
- Liaise with external partners such as local universities to arrange student placements and additional soft tissue services.
- Book scans and appointments as directed by physiotherapy staff.
- Responsible for obtaining authorisation from the club's medical insurer for all referrals made.
- Maintain accurate medical records as per regulatory body guidelines.
- Assist with administrative tasks.
- Desire to continually improve oneself and advance the service.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Therapy/Rehabilitation.
- Relevant Professional body registered and fully insured.
- Level 3 First Aid Certificate.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS
- RFL IMMOFP qualified or equivalent
- Previous experience working in sport.
